Can we make a petition for if Roberto de zerbi does become manager he has to shave his middle bit of his beard. It looks like a fucking landing strip that a munter would have on their cunt, freshly waxed ready for her week holiday to benidorm. Hopefully we give him a makeover the same way did to Mr potter.
avatar
Im not going to say my 'sources' are 100% (feel like an idiot even saying that) but people i really trust who have connections to the club seem pretty confident in Mckenna staying with us. Also heard from a few places that De Zerbi might be the one for chelsea, less sure on that. Gonna be interesting to see what happens
avatar
It's not even about the quality of the manager, it's about the whole process. Maybe Maresca (likely new manager) could even do well, but you have to give him time and support. Sacking Poch now (4th manager in two years) in a moment in which Chelsea found their rhythm and he's loved by the players is not good for the stability of the club.
avatar
can't be super enticing destination given the amount of say the ownership has in the transfer policy and short amount of time granted to them to start producing results
avatar
Am i the only one who actually thought poch was the right guy? I mean he came to an hostile enviornment, with 200890 new players, all youngsters without any chemistry and managed to create a really decent team that finished the season in great momentum and form, bringing them back to european football. On top of that half his squad was literally injured, he played the whole season without nkunku and with the bum jackson as his only striker.
avatar
Now watch as we rehire Tuchel, sack him, hire Potter, sack him, hire lampard, sack him and then hire Poch again and we're stuck in some never ending groundhog day loop

If u drop down the table next season and not even reach one domestic cup final and go to the quarterfinals or semifinals in the Europa League (depends if City win the fa cup final whether you'll be in it next season) Then u need to raise hell against ur owners and i mean actual hell... If ur gonna sack someone who took u to a domestic cup final, to a FA Cup semifinal and took you from 12th to 6th and then in the last 1-2 months in this season had u finally started clicking as a team and as a group on the pitch and off the pitch in one season... Then boy there better be lots of progression next season otherwise you cant let ur owners run shit like this anymore...
avatar
You forgot Moyesy
avatar
Next season could and probably would of been top 4, now it’s going to be 10th again
avatar
It's De Zerbi isnt it? Feel like all the news and briefings that came out of the club points to man only, De Zerbi was also Paid out of his contract with Brighton(kinda our thing?) and we all know how obsessed the board is with Brighton products
avatar
Feels like owners don't like anything good happening to their own club. Kept him when things weren't good, when fans wanted him out. Wins 5 games in a row, gets sacked. Reportedly wanted a bigger say than he was given in transfer decisions of the club. They need a "Yes man" who doesn't talk about assessing the owners back. Probably asking for a young "inexperienced coach" who doesn't have enough credibility or spine to talk back to them. This might be the reason to sack Tuchel. This might officially be a start of clown period for Chelsea. Note: Would be happily proven wrong.

Chelsea after first 23 league games: 9 wins 4 draws 10 losses and Poch remains in charge https://s3a.sofifa.net/b6ea3fd08bc0d0fb7888c41375757c44d9a7db60.png Chelsea last 15 league games: 9 wins 5 draws 1 loss and Poch gets sacked??? https://s3a.sofifa.net/31404ac14defd326e898431ce9e7a464b91f1ee0.png

Don’t fix something that isn’t broken can also be said if somethings going well don’t change it, it was going well with Poch, I’ve seen player interviews they are all happy to play for him and said he’s getting the best out of them, not like Potter and Lampard where they just weren’t motivated to play for a low level coach. Good luck attracting any decent players or getting high profile players like Nkunku and Enzo playing out of their skin for a fucking championship manager The thing is these dumb ass owners probably only remember the complaints from last year and early season when we weren’t happy, so they think 6th place isn’t good enough and have shit the bed, but if they paid attention they would know the fan base is happy with how much we’ve improved, and the poor season was mostly down to injuries. Since everyone was now happy and settled with and key players returning from injury, on top of the good form this year we could have continued to cook next season. But no, these dumbasses wanna throw another spanner in the works and shake everything up to square one again. If Poch has left then look at an ELITE manager, not fucking manager of Stuttgart and and Ipswich
avatar
Wtf are ur owners doing like are they for fucking real they sack him when it all started to finally click... Ur players looked happy and the morale was high... U were looking like u were gonna reach a whole new level next season and they do this i promise you this decision will be the biggest clap back to them ever since they took full ownership of ur club...
avatar
Nah it might actually be joever for y'all, Poch was finally cooking with this team, ur owners have ruined u guys for sure
avatar
This board is clueless, when things starting to get better they fire him 💀
avatar
Imagine sacking someone because they want to be able to decide who they sign. Fucking insane
avatar
Clownlake logic: Sack Tuchel cause he just wants to train players and doesn't want to be involved in transfers Sack Pochettino cause he wants to be involved in transfers

Mate, I literally watch every game. Palmer and Gusto have been great. Madueke has found form as of late, been incredibly productive, Jackson has 18g/as in his first season, should fix his shooting and continue to grow, Caicedo has been good most of the season but is currently our best player.

Maybe in two years. At the moment Casadei’s not even a guaranteed starter in the Championship and Santos isn’t getting a sniff at one of the worst teams in the league. All this while Gallagher’s been one of the best midfielders in the league, as every top coach would agree. There’s a reason Poch loves him and Klopp, Ange, Howe would dearly like to have him. If Mourinho took charge from tomorrow Gallagher would still be one of the first names on the team sheet even with all of Chukwuemeka, Casadei, Lavia, Santos, Caicedo, Ugochukwu and Enzo available.

Palmer has been FAR better in a Chelsea shirt than Mudryk or Madueke. The only way we'll get a result against Arsenal is outworking them. We simply cannot afford to play Sterling, Palmer, Jackson, and Madueke/Mudryk. Thus, Gallagher starts.
