Omg I feel so sad for him...
avatar
Is it his fault Düsseldorf gave up a 3 goal lead at HOME? no. I do think the Bundesliga playoff system is very unfair. Year after year the 2nd league side gets battered
avatar
that’s a bottle even HSV would be proud of
avatar
Read again I literally said the same thing Uchino is taking the blame, while it was just a poor performance and he shouldn’t get the blame at all

https://sofifa.com/squad/1817058 Just like most fans of the game a true fairytale run captures your interest! I have been following saarbrucken in the DFB Cup eventually losing out in the semis so Ive started a really fun career mode with them this squad is my first season in the bundesliga. This one is more of an essay than normal but I I have been fascinated with their story! They are Located right at the south of Germany right on the border with France the club has some very interesting history The German state of Saarland, where the city of Saarbrücken is was occupied by the French after the war. They made various efforts to see the state become independent of Germany or join France. In sport, this was manifested as separate 1952 Olympic and 1954 FIFA World Cup teams for Saarland and they are so footballing mad they established their own league called the Ehrenliga. In 1948, FC Saarbrücken was one of a number of sides forced out of German football, but unlike other clubs, they did not play in the puppet league. Instead, the strong side became part of the French second division as FC Sarrebruck. They actually won the French Ligue 2 but were refused promotion or further participation due to the resistance of other clubs especially the ones that had been forced to play in German competition during World War II. They were chosen as founding members of the inaugural bundesliga season but they finished last and were relegated There were two more turns in the Bundesliga, in 1986 and 1993, both ending in relegation. A financial crisis in 1995 led to the club being denied a license and being sent down to division 3. Saarbrücken has since become a yo-yo club with frequent moves between the second and fifth tiers They have produced some recent bundesliga players Florian Müller and Patrick herrmann are born in saarbrucken and came through the club Erik durm and Eduard Löwen are also former youth players so they are a must for your rebuild. Admittedly that’s a lot to unpack haha If you can get through all that hopefully you enjoy this career mode as much as I am Real Faces Only

Cottbus and Aachen are big ones to do a RTG with, especially Aachen

I Loved him Back in His days at Mainz 05. Great freekick taker, it's sad to see at Nürnberg on the Bench, i can't explain why he does Not get as good as i thought he could be. He gots much worse in the Last years sadly

I think it's hard for non-french people to understand how big Sochaux actually is in the history of football in France: -it's a pure workers club like in the original DNA of football, it was founded by Peugeot to bring cohesion among the workers of their factory in the small city of Sochaux (less than 4 000 inhabitants today). Peugeot only sold the club in 2015 -They are the trail blazers of professional football in France with the creation in the 30s of the "coupe Sochaux" which is basically the ancestor of Ligue 1 -They won 2 league titles, 2 national cups and one league cup which is an honorable trophy cabinet -They played 66 seasons in the top flight which was the record for a long time and it's still in 4th place for most season played in Ligue 1 by a club -Their academy has always produced good talents. Ibrahima Konaté being the latest example -The club is so important for a region which, if we're being honest, is not the most attractive in France. Sochaux is the pride of many people coming from there

Street will never forget him at Chelsea

Leeds didnt bottle anything btw. we had a 17 point gap on leicester at the start of 2024, we did catch up to them after winning 11/12 games then we lost that streak and other teams kept winning. no one has ever got 90+ points and not gone up so we didnt bottle anything. its just the hardest league to get out of and that proves it.
avatar
Is a good top, but I think you forgot about Aleix Garcia (at least I do see him as a defensive midfielder)
avatar
The proper English league. Premier league is so boring nowadays. Horrible atmosphere’s, oil clubs like City, Newcastle and Chelsea, and it’s just a robotic league in general.

Claudio Gomes brother
avatar
He was good in Düsseldorf though
avatar
Not as talented as some Brazilian legends (even if he's talented asf) but he has already done more than all of them in the CL at age 24 that's crazy
avatar
Neither, but I used to dream about moving there when I was younger. Honestly, I was somewhat obsessed with anything Canada, and that carried over to football. I also travelled there in 2016 and have had a softspot for the Vancouver Whitecaps ever since. Somehow, all that stuck with me, and I started following Canadian football more closely, both Nationalteam as well as the CPL. Also, I have been following Davies since his first ever MLS start and I just enjoyed watching his development, as well as the appearance of the likes of David, Eustaqio, Buchanan, etc.
avatar
Tf has to do that with Switzerland? I said that Zakharyan is an Armenian surname
avatar
Better in scoring penalties than in actually saving them
avatar
Great pen for a keeper btw

A career mode legend... You shall be remembered by the old fifa users
avatar
One of their defenders Luke Fleurs was murdered. Rip
avatar
Rest in Peace to Luke Fleurs, tragically taken way too soon :(

Its not bochum it is ARMINIA BIELEFIELD!

Sassulo getting relegated would hurt. Like Southampton their star player who has been at the club their whole career would then go on to leave. I really hope this isn’t the case for Berardi and Sassulo, because as a Southampton fan, it really hurt with Ward-Prowse
avatar
no stanima tho

ohgott HAHAHAHA
avatar
Daamn I do the same thing all the time. The way time flies is crazy sometimes
avatar
I feel like he would make the perfect inverted-fullback.
avatar
he already played that role during Pep's era in Bayern!

He might be not the most talented german player of his generation but he delivered a lot for the NT(except in the 2 last tournaments). Guy was sick in 2010 and 2014 World Cups and 2012 Euro

Thats what I wrote 5 years ago. Too bad they never bought him
avatar
soulless club with no fans and no history
avatar
their club goes against the traditional spirit of german clubs. red bull (a fucking energy drink company btw who have no reason to get into the football market except money) pumped money into the club and abused a loophole to get to the top tier and kick out historic german giants like schalke and hamburg and take european competition spots from more german giants like frankfurt and gladbach. their fanbase is also extremely weak, and has no culture, dead club
avatar
Wrong. Its the fact. Its difficult but "Fake" Teams / Clubs which earned their Money from a big Conpany or Sponsor are the reason for disslike. Similar to Wolfsburg, Hoffenheim (Hoppenheim - Leverkusen, RB)... Clubs without a big History. But i think, bayer isnt No more Fake club

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
avatar
irl some of the time he’s a total liability, 0 ball control, 0 awareness, 0 crosses finding their target - sometimes it’s so bad I wonder how anyone could ever think that he should be a footballer and then some of the time he’s the most committed player by far, winning every tackle and every sprint and scoring not just the important goals, but absolute bangers as well (and I’m talking direct volleys from 20 meters out and stuff) no doubt one of the strangest players I’ve ever seen

Didn't think Leverkusen would get better with him gone. Boy was I wrong. Really a win-win transfer
avatar
if killing 11,000+ civilians in just a few weeks isn't terrorism, I don't know what is. It's the definition of collective punishment, it's a war crime, and it shows how unserious you are. Supporting a people experiencing occupation, apartheid, and genocide does not mean supporting every aspect of their government -- that's a ridiculous proposition to make, and it's the exact same false dichotomy that has Israel and its supporters feeling that murdering 11k people including over 4,000 children is somehow justifiable.

-> randomly spawns out of the depths of the amateur leagues -> immediately becomes the only solid striker for a struggling Bundesliga side -> just enjoys playing football for five years while playing like an amateur level player for the latter half of that time -> retires at 27 to work as a tax consultant might be one of the strangest football careers I know of
